KCMS
has provided full project delivery services since 1996 for the development of a 700-acre parcel along the Santa Clara River in Oxnard, California. KCMS staff forged a consensus among a diverse group of project stakeholders including the County of Ventura, City of Oxnard, County Flood Control District, Ventura County Water Protection Authority, United Water Conservation District, and the California Coastal Conservancy.
This mixed-use, master-planned community has been
entitled for approximately 2,800 residential units and up to
2.4 million square feet
of commercial space. RiverPark
Legacy includes two elementary schools and one middle school that is operated by the Rio School District. There is also a joint-use City/County fire station, County Operations Yard, community parks and a nature walk along the Santa Clara River.
Construction and delivery of the first residential components comprised of 400 apartment units, one of two elementary schools, a middle school, a City/County fire station, and County Operations Yard have been completed.
