Herald Examiner Buildings

KCMS provided services for the adaptive reuse of the historic Herald Examiner Broadway Building and development of two new high-rise condominium towers in the South Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The original
building designed by Julia Morgan and completed in 1915 was the home of
the Herald Examiner Newspaper until 1989.
Historic features will be restored
to their original brilliance and the building’s systems will be replaced
to support a unique office and retail environment.
The
new towers, the Hill Street
Building and the 12th Street Building,
will offer nearly 600 for-sale condominium homes and ground-floor retail
space.
