Burien Town Square

The City of Burien, Washington selected Urban Partners/Keller CMS, Inc. through a public competition in October 2003 to plan and develop a $122 million “town square” mixed-use project on ten acres in downtown Burien.

 

To meet City goals to revitalize the city center, Burien Town Square will have a wide variety of private and public spaces.  Development will include 80,000 square feet of retail and entertainment development, up to 235 for-sale or rental housing units and a new 20,000 square foot City Hall, a 1.2-acre town square park a 40,000 square foot King County public library and structured parking for over 400 vehicles.

 

The Burien Town Square Private Parcel is under construction, with 124 condominiums and 19,000 square feet of retail.  Keller CMS is managing the design and construction of all private buildings, and has assisted the city of Burien and King county in the planning and start-up of the streets, park, City Hall, and Library.  The Development Disposition Agreement with the City of Burien and Urban Partners was executed in June of 2005.   KCMS also entered into contracts with the City and King County for the delivery of the Park, Streets and Infrastructure.
